Our developments offer a neighborhood atmosphere in close proximity to medical, social service,
transportation, and financial facilities and services. Local grocers are nearby as well as convenience
stores. The library is within a mile of both developments. The community has several churches and religious
groups of various faiths and denominations available throughout the Town. Areas of the Statewide Bike Path
are located near the developments for recreational activities.
The Housing Authority offers several size units based on the needs and qualifications of the person or persons interested in
residency with us. The West Warwick Manor has studio, one bedroom, and two bedroom units available. Clyde Tower has single
and couple units; the units have similar floor layouts but are different by the amount of square footage available in each.
All units have Cable TV available to residents who want to pay for the service. Verizon and Cox Cable also offer phone service in the buildings.
Heat and hot water are included in the rent. Electricity is also included at the West Warwick Manor with excess
utility charges applied to the accounts of those residents who use an air conditioner. At Clyde Tower, the rent is
reduced by a fixed Utility Allowance and the resident pays his or her electric bill directly to the electric company.
RIPTA has bus stops located in front of each building. The Senior Center has the RIDE program available, also. Off-street parking
is available for residents of the building for one vehicle per unit.
Rent is based on income minus certain qualifying allowances and deductions or on a Flat Rent basis.
We provide 24-hour Maintenance if needed. The Town provides police and fire protection to the developments, including Emergency Medical
Services as needed.
